Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under the authority of FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This action is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this action is 332999. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91CRB-06-T-0008. Requirement is for industrial carts, wire shelves, dock ladders, cabinets and other equipment to be used in a warehouse. Interested vendors may request the list of equipment from the Contract Specialist listed below. This is a Foreign Military Sales Requirement for the Government of Afghanistan under FMS Case AF-B-BBJ. Shipping will b e FOB Destination. Vendor will be responsible for movement of equipment from vendors facility to New Cumberland, PA. Specific shipping instructions will be included in contract. Quoted price should include delivery. Delivery of 30 days ARO is desi red for all items, however, offerors are encouraged to propose alternate delivery schedules if complete delivery cannot be met. Partial shipments are acceptable. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition . The provision at 52.212-2 Evaluation  Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Contracting Officer shall make a best value award decision based on the following evaluation factors: Price and delivery schedule. While delivery is more important than price, award will be made to th e offeror that provides the best delivery schedule for the best price. A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items, must be provided with offers.
