PRON: AX5C0831AX; NSN: 4140-01-301-0920; P/N: 41358-1; Noun: Impeller, Fan Axial; Qty: Min: 37/Max: 477 Critical Safety Item This requirement is a 5 Year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract, applicable to the CH-47 Airframe, with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This item is restricted to Meggit Airdynamics (58163). The Government physically does not hav e in its possession sufficient, accurate, or legible data to purchase this part from other than the current source. This code is applicable only to parts under immediate buy requirements and only for as long thereafter as the deficiency is under review fo r resolution and appropriate recoding. This code is only assigned at the conclusion of limited screening and it remains assigned until the full screening process resolves physical data questions. A Contractor First Article Test is not required. Delivery will begin 180 days after receipt of order. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the websit e www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirements. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. NOTES: 22, 23 and 26.
