THIS ACQUISITION REQUIRES ACCESS CLASSIFIED DATE, WHICH REQUIRES THAT THE CONTRACTOR HAVE A CURRENT AND VALID FACILITY CLEARANCE AND SAFEGUARD CAPABILITY. THIS INFORMATION CANNOT BE RELEASED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE GOVERNME NT. Raytheon shall manage and supply these assets in response to a valid requisition in a timeframe necessary to maintain and improve system readiness. Raytheon will make the determination to repair, modify or replace the asset upon receipt of unserviceable a ssets. All parts identified above are technically restricted to Raytheon for Depot Level Repair; however, not all are technically restricted to Raytheon for the manufacture of a new item. Raytheon, under the PBL will determine whether an item will be a r epair, make or buy. Thirty-Eight (38) NSNs identified have been procured from sources other than Raytheon for the manufacture of a new item. For those item which Raytheon is not the actual manufacturer, the Government will provide a list of actual manufa ctures by part number to Raytheon for soliciting for a new item. Suggest that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement, make contact with the firm listed. The Government does not posses s sufficient documentation to acquire these items from other than the qualified source. Draft Request for Proposal will be issued to Raytheon, Integrated Defense System, 350 Lowell Street, Andover, MA 01810-4400 (vendor code 05716).
