Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Hoover Dam, has a requirement for a quantity of three (3) Basler Model PSS-100-Y5 Power System Stabilizers. Each system shall include the following: two input, utilizing compensated frequency and power; software switches to insert test signals at multiple locations; programmable logic, timers for sequencing special testing; four lead/lag stages, terminal voltage limiter, adjustable washout time constant, low power threshold, stabilizer gain setting, upper and lower limits, frequency compensation, output scale adjustment, ramp-tracking filter time constant, four gain and times setting groups, torsional filters, automatic output disable and reset (voltage unbalance, current unbalance, power below threshold, excessive speed change), watchdog, power supply and hardware failure protection. To include PSS-100 BESCOM Software. Items to be delivered to Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Hoover Dam, Highway 93, Boulder City, NV 89005. This requirement is being procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 334515. The size standard is 500 employees. Effective October 1, 2003, prospective vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) prior to the award of a contract. You may register by going to www.ccr.gov. You will need your Dun & Bradstreet number and banking information. It is anticipated that a Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about November 14, 2005, and awarded on or about November 22, 2005; however, all dates in this announcement are subject to change. The RFQ will be issued via www.fedbizopps.gov. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation. However, a Request for Quote is being issued to facilitate submittal of quotes through electronic commerce, and to view all applicable clauses and attachments.
