Description

The National Institutes of Health (NIH), The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, seeks to procur professional services for a Chairman for the Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis in Children & Young Adults Trial Network Steering Committee. The following tasks are required, but are not limited to: 1)Convene conference calls of the FSGS Executive Committee twice a month; 2)Convene and run a meeting of the Steering Committee every 4 months; 3) Review recruitment data and discuss reruitment and retention strategies with the Program Office; 4) Review the proceedings and recommendations from all subcommittees; 5) Act as spokesman for the FSCS clinical trial at major national and international meetings; 6) Represent the FSGS Steering Committee at the meeting and conference calls of the External Advisory Committee. This procurement is not set aside for small business. A statement of work will be attached to the Request for Quote (RFQ) package. Responsible vendors that are capable of providing NIDDK with the services described above may request a copy of the RFQ in writing or by FAX to 301-480-4226 to the Contracting Office prior to the closing date of this notice. It is anticipated that RFQ NIH-NIDDK-06-629 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is December 14, 2005. Quotations must be submitted in writing to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases 6707 Democracy Blvd., Room 774C, Bethesda, Maryland 20817 Attention: Marlene Mireles.
