PRON: AX579740AX, NSN: 1680-01-476-0823, PN: 7-311642102-13, QUANTITY: 119 each, applicable to the AH-64 AIRFRAME, with deliveries to Stockton, CA 95296-0130. This item is restricted to McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co., Cage Code 8V613 , because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acq uisition of the part from the approved source(s). Production Lead-time is 119 each due, 90 Days After Contract Award (DACA). Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek sou rce approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR (Comprehensive Automated Process for Source Approval Request) and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Av iation requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation wil l not close prior to the closing date stated above.
