Description

A Preproposal Conference will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2005 at the ABINGDON FEDERAL BUILDING, 180 W. MAIN STREET, ABINGDON, VA, beginning promptly at 9:30 AM and is expected to conclude no later than 11:30 AM. The purpose of this conference is to provide a briefing on the contracting concept as identified in Section L, along with discussing the scope of work and the specifications, so that bidders can ascertain the general conditions that could materially affect their bid price. We consider attendance at this conference vital to the preparation of a competitive and cost effective proposal, and to understand the total result desired by the Government. Failure to attend this meeting may not be used as an excuse for omission or miscalculation in offers.
