- Description
- THE PURPOSE OF THIS MODIFICATION IS TO CHANGE THE TITLE OF THE REQUIREMENT TO: "SAFETY AND OPERATIONAL EVALUATION OF FREEWAY INTERCHANGES" AND "NOVEL INTERSECTIONS ANALYSIS." The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement for a graduate student to conduct a study entitled the Safety and Operational Evaluations of Signalized Intersection Design and Control Treatments. The FHWA is seeking responsible offerors who can provide the services outlined in the Solicitation. This requirement shall be awarded on an unrestricted basis. All interested parties should submit their proposal in accordance with the attached solicitation. The solicitation and all related documents and amendments, if any, shall only be released and available electronically through the Federal Business Opportunity at www.fbo.gov. Choose the FedBizOpps Vendors option followed by the DOT acronym. Search under the Federal Highway Administration. The Solicitation and related documents shall be posted under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number DTFH61-06-Q-00008. NO WRITTEN, TELEPHONIC, FACSIMILE OR EMAIL REQUESTS shall be honored. Interested parties may register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements by email. Since this Solicitation shall only be available electronically, it is the responsibility of all interested parties to monitor the FedBizOpps website for any Solicitation amendments. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal/offer. This is a Simplified Acquisition and award of a firm-fixed price purchase order shall be made to the offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation shall be most advantageous to the Government. All offerors be advised that the maximum available funds for this requirement are $60,000.00. Proposals/offers are due November 30, 2005, 3:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.
