Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format is Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). CISCO Router Maintenance Warranty Description: The Contractor shall provide labor, parts, equipment, materials, transportation, supervision, and other items necessary to provide an extended warranty service for 24-7-365. The services include software updates, hardware, parts, and access to the technical assistance center. The contractor is to furnish parts, in the warranty service. No installation is included. Description of Service: Cisco Smartnet 8X5XNBD Warranty Contract for Switch/Routers on Lackland AFB NIPRNET and SIPRNET. Contractor must provide all replacement parts to support failed parts on 44 Switches/Routers connected to the Lackland network infrastructure. The provider must also provide software upgrade to include Major and Maintenance releases of Cisco IOS Software.This replaces failed parts and upgrades software for routers connected to the Lackland network infrastructure. Diagnoses will be done by government engineers.
