Description

NON-PERSONAL SERVICES to furnish all labor, tools, parts, materials, test equipment, personal protective equipment and clothing, transportation, and any incidentals necessary to travel to TAFB OK to upgrade (bring up to code) tow (2) Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) Systems that are part of the Process Chilled Water Pumps. Contractor shall be responsible for insuring all services and parts provided for services are IAW manufacturer?s equipment specifications and the SOW. The government is contemplating awarding a Commercial Firm-Fixed Price type contract. The estimated award date is no later than 12 DEC 05. Central Contractor Registration is required to receive any award. Contractors can register electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. Contractors shall have completed annual representations and certification electronically via the ORCA website at http://orca.bpn.gov. Also Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
