Description
Description: See numbered note: 12. 2530-01-314-6415, track shoe assembly, complete track shoe group with attaching hardware, solicited in accordance with FAR Part 12, commercial items. Parts are being bought in accordance with Caterpillar Inc. (11083) P/N 3P1027 or Intertractor America Corp (64478) P/N 53778. Total quantity required is 41each with 15 each going to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001 and 26 each going to (W62G2T) Stockton, CA 95296-0130. There is also an option for up to 21 each and the solicitation requests incremental pricing for up to 60 each. This solicitation is an RFQ and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfq after the issue date 11/28/05. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based on a combination of price, delivery, past performance, socioeconomic and JWOD as described in the solicitation. The required delivery is 30 days. A written quotation is required and is to be returned to the buyer at Defense Supply Center Columbus, PO Box 3990, Columbus, OH 43218-3990, ATTN: Sharon Harper, LDAC1 or can be fax to 614-693-1576. In a final rule contained in the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26 (Item 1, FAR Case 2002-24) published in the Federal Register on December 20, 2004, the Federal Acquisition Regulation was amended to require offerors to submit representations and certification electronically via the Business Partner Network. Offerors are encouraged to complete an Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) as soon as possible since this requirement is now appearing in solicitations. The ORCA can be found at http://orca.bpn.gov. Until ORCA is fully implemented continue to comply with all government instruction and requirements in solicitation and contract awards.
