- The Government intends to issue a Sole Source Award under the authority of FAR 13.501 to KJZZ-TV, Utah Sports Marketing, Salt Lake City, UT, for Advertising and Promotion. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in acc ordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitatio n services as the Request for Quotation. Provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to OfferorsCommercial Items and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. Best Value to the Government will be used to evaluate offers. This includes, but is not limited to, the best price when considering the merits of all offers. Offers need to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification-Commercial Items and descriptive litera ture of items being quoted with their offer. Offers must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration and should include their DUNS number, Cage Code and Federal Tax ID number. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The Government will consider all proposals received prior to the closing date. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed Purchase Order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
