Description

The work consists of Placement Area No. 5 improvements/repairs to include approximately 225,000 CY of side cast levee; repair and replace drop-outlet structures. The estimated cost range for this project is from $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. The North A merican Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $28.5 million and will be advertised, UNRESTRICTED. The plans and specifications will be posted at the Galveston District we b site ONLY at http://www.swg.usace.army.mil/EBS/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp . There will be no paper copies or CDs available. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER AS A PLANHOLDER TO SHOW THAT YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED THE PACKAGE. THIS WILL ALLOW US TO NOTIFY IN TERESTED PARTIES IN THE EVENT THAT AN AMENDMENT IS ISSUED. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. I t is therefore the contractors responsibility to check the web site daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
