Description

The Bureau of Reclamation, Central California Area Office intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm-fixed price construction contract to construct a 230'x10' concrete hand launch ramp 5 1/2" thick, 5 sack mix, with 1/2" rebar on one foot square grid with broom finish at Lake Berryessa, 5520 Knoxville Road, Napa, CA . The scope of the work will also include removing existing hand launch ramp and shoulder, and haul off site. The estimated cost of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) applicable for this project is 238990. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $12.0M. It is anticipated that the RFQ, will be posted to December 6, 2005 at http://ideasec.nbc.gov with quotes due on or about January 6, 2006. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Vehicle length restrictions are enforced on CA-121 from Napa, CA and CA-128 from Interstate 80. Vehicles are restricted to no more that 37' in length on CA-128 and delivery trucks with trailers cannot use CA-121. Both roads are very winding, CA-121 is particularly sharp.
