Description

The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) will host its first annual Small Business Conference in early February 2006 at Chantilly, VA. The conference theme is "Doing Business with the NRO." This conference will be conducted twice (on 8 and 9 February 2006) to allow the maximum number of attendees possible. All small businesses wishing to learn more about doing business with the NRO are encouraged to attend. There will be a $50 conference fee per person for this event to cover conference materials, lunch, and snacks. To be eligible for attendance, a business must be designated as a Small Business in accordance with FAR 19.102 - Size Standards. Each company may send up to three employees, and all attendees must be US citizens possessing TS//SI//TK clearances. Application, pre-registration, and security processing must be accomplished no later than 20 January 2006, and can be completed at https://arc.westfields.net/conferences/smallbusiness. At this site, you will be required to provide your company name and address, employee full name, clearance level, position with the company, SSN, parent organization holding clearance (e.g., DIA or DoD), and the session you would like to attend. Attendance is limited to 265 people per day and once that number is reached, the website will allow no further registrations. After registration, please continue to monitor the website for further announcements, clarifications, questions and answers.
