- Description
- The United States Air Force (USAF) is seeking qualified entities for the Tinker Air Force Base (TAFB) Housing Privatization Project. The project provides a unique opportunity for top quality firms to assist in the development, operation, and financing of this family housing privatization effort. Specifically, the project calls for 432 units to be demolished and replaced, 36 units will be newly constructed, 54 will be renovated, and 208 require no improvements, for an end state of 730 units. The Government will lease approximately 225 acres of on-base land for at least 50 years. The Government?s goal is to provide military families access to safe, secure, quality, affordable, well-maintained housing in a community where they choose to live. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is available at the project web site. Proposals are due by 5:00pm EST on January 17, 2006.
