Description

Subject to final approval, The Department of the Treasury’s ,Departmental Offices, Procurement Services Division intends to award a contract to Troux Technologies, Inc. under GSA contract number GS-35F-0454N. Nature and Description of Action: The Treasury Office of the CIO has a requirement to adopt, implement, and support an Enterprise Architecture Modeling Toolset that is consistent with the existing modeling tool used by the principle Treasury Bureaus. The primary purpose of this acquisition is to provide licenses to the Metis Enterprise Architecture Toolset and obtain time sensitive professional support critical to implementation and deployment of this COTS toolset. As part of the professional support, the contractor shall assist the Treasury OCIO business line function to affect business processing re-engineering and guidance towards the integration of this enterprise architecture modeling toolset into an Enterprise Architecture process and IT governance business environment. The scope of work for this acquisition includes contractor task management, process support; and technical support to include software configuration and licenses. No solicitation document is available. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. There will not be full and open competition of this contract because of unusual and compelling urgency. (41 USC 253(c) (2)) The Office of the CIO and the Treasury Bureaus have implemented an Enterprise Architecture Process with Troux (Metis) as a software tool. Troux Technologies, Inc. can provide the required services to the Metis Workgroup Product Suite supported by the Troux Solutions Group (TSG).
