- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared per the format in Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number INL- 0110-4Q5028 is a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Government intends to award a firm, fixed price contract for the acquisition of weapon cleaning kits. The following Provisions and Clauses are incorporated into this RFQ by reference. No addenda apply to these Provisions and Clauses. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications ? Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, FAR 52-212-5, Contract Terms and conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. No additional FAR clauses apply. The following provides the specifications: 13,000 each M16 buttstock cleaning kits with 5-piece rod w/loop, bore brush, chamber brush, double ended parts cleaning brush and oil bottle. 20 each gallon cleaner, lubricant and preservative for M16s. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer which offers the best value to the Government. Offerrs must supply a Certificate of Conformance that the cleaning kits and lubricant are certified for use for M16 weapons. Failure to provide the Certificate of Conformance will automatically render the offer unacceptable. Shipment will be made to Robertson Freight Forwarding, Miami, FL for onward shipment to Colombia. Prices must be FOB Miami, FL Offerors must provide a completed SF 1449 with their quote. The Government will make one award from this synopsis/solicitation. Offerors must be registered in the Contractor Central Registry (CCR) to be considered for award.
