- The proposed contract is for 100% small business set aside concerns. NSN: 2840-01-308-0815PR, P/N: 136437G02, Noun: Mounting Ring, Turbine. Engine: F110-129. Destination: FB2039. Quantity: Qty Ranges will be solicited from 11 to 28; BEQ is 22 each. Delivery: 31 July 2006. Qualification Requirements (QR?s): QR?s are set forth in OC-ALC Source Approval Information Booklet. Due to complexity & criticality of this part, only actual manufactures that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, or manufactures that have successfully completed all testing on items determined by the government to be similar in complexity and criticality, can be considered approved sources for this item. The solicitation will contain further information on the QR requirement. A First Article will be required for those offerors who have not provided this item within the past 36 months. Data may be obtained from the FedTeds website at www.fedteds.gov once the solicitation is issued. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 15 Dec 2005. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 14 Jan 2006. The anticipated award date will be 25 Feb 2006. Written and electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. This office will not mail solicitations. No telephone requests. The solicitation must be printed from FedBizOps by the contractor. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of aware in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. NOTE: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
