Description

DESC: 1005-00-557-7409, Part Number 5577409, the item to procure is a Stop Assembly used on the M2 .50 Cal Machine Gun. The Stop Assembly consists of 5577408 Stop, 6008975 Pawl, 5013611 Plunger, 5013612 Pin. Parts are manufactured raw material or c asting per drawing requirements. 5577408 stop is manufactured from a wrought steel or precision cast item about 2 by 1 3/16 inches wide by 1 3/8 inches high. Requirements are 2,500 each, Stop Assembly. The proposed contract will include a 200 percent op tion. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is on or about 15 December 2005. THIS DATE IS JUST AN ESTIMATE. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments th ereto.
