Description

DESC: 1005-01-454-8486, Part Number 12012077, the item to procure is a Backplate Assembly used on the M2 .50 Cal Machine Gun. The Backplate Assembly material is carbon steel bar, cold finished grades 1137 or 1141 bushining made from zytel plastic 10 5 bk010a inserted. The part is about one inch wide X 1.12 inch thick and 1.75 inches long and protective finish required is a heavy phosphate with supplementary oil treatment. Special Note: Drawing allows for alternate investment casting for P/N 1201207 8. Requirements are 2,000 each, Backplate Assembly. The proposed contract will include a 200 percent option. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is on or about 15 December 2005. THIS DATE IS JUST AN ESTIMATE. This solicitation will be issued ele ctronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that will be provided via the internet, along with the soliciation. Upon request, a 3D Technical Data Pac kage is available for informational purposes only. The 2D drawings are the required build to print drawings.
