- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Government requires 1,000 57MM Target Practice, MK 296 Mod 0 cartridges in accordance with Automated Data List 53711-5355837. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis with BAE Systems, Minneapolis, Minnesota in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, ?only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements?. A safety and security survey will be required prior to contract award in order to comply with the requirements of DFAR 252.223-7002 and 252-223-7003. The Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry database, located at www.ccr.gov, as well as the Joint Certification Program, located at www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp. The 1,000 57MM Target Practice, MK 296 Mod 0 cartridges are to be delivered FOB Destination. Inspection and acceptance of the 1,000 cartridges will be at destination as well. The solicitation will be available on or about 29 December 2005 at the three websites cited above. Interested parties can download the solicitation from the three websites cited above, for no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed.
