Description
The contractor shall provide a maintenance service contract for the Spectra and Trima medical equipment to include all labor, parts, material, equipment and travel to maintain the listed Tripler AMC owned equipment IAW MFG specifications. The contra ctor shall provide equipment on site, installation, and training. Provide all support needed to include equipment repairs, labor, and test equipment, travel, and materials not government furnished, necessary to keep the units operational to manufacturers specifications, seven (7) days per week. Provide troubleshooting assistance by modem or on site as requested 24 hours per day. Shall provide and install all hardware and software updates. Shall provide new or updates user manuals when changes are made. New and refurbished parts must be certified and pre-approved by the Medical Maintenance Branch prior to installation and documented to meet OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) specifications on all repairs. The contractor will furnish and install all manuf acturers Mandatory modifications and apply recalls by FDA. Provide a minimum of one (1) preventive maintenance services per year to include lubrications, cleaning (other than operators), calibra?tions, parts replacement, and unlimited service calls during the contract period. The instrument services shall be provided twenty-four hours a day five days a week. Services under this Contract shall be performed by individuals who have demonstrated knowledge and com?petence in the servicing and maintaining of th e specific instrumen?tation under this Contract. The Contrac?tor shall insure repair technicians have been trained on the specific equipment under contract, be laser safety certified and have (1) years of experience in maintaining equipment. The contract performance period will commence on January 01, 2006 through September 30, 2006 for the base period with four (4) option year periods through 2010. Option years shall include 12 months, with start dates of 01 October of each year through 30 Se ptember of the following year. Payments will be in quarterly amounts to be paid in arrears. Funding will be allocated annually in accordance with availability of funds. This solicitation is 100% set aside for Small Business concerns. The solicitation will be available upon request on or about 29 November 2005. All quotes or proposed offers are due by 10:00 A.M. Hawaii Standard Time (HST) on December 9, 2005.
