- The United States Coast Guard Maintenance & Logistics Command Pacific in Oakland, California, proposes to contract for the Dockside Repair of USCGC CHASE (WHEC 718), a 378-foot high endurance cutter, home moorage of San Diego, California. Work will be accomplished at the cutter?s home moorage, located at 32nd Street Naval Station, during the period of 13 June through 04 August 2006. Work may include, but is not limited to the following: Production Gantt Bar Chart Provide; Windlass Room Repairs; Stuffing Tube Renewal; Tanks (Hydraulic Oil Storage & Service) Clean and Inspect; Tanks (Potable Water) Clean and Inspect; Tanks (Lube Oil Storage & Service) Clean and Inspect; Tanks (Dirty & Waste Oil) Clean and Inspect; Inspect and Test Circuit Breakers, 60 Hz; Inspect and Test Circuit Breakers, 400 Hz; Critical Vent Fans Overhaul; Potable Water Pneumatic Tank Relief Valves Renew; Potable Water Pneumatic Tanks, Clean, Inspect and Hydro; Steam Relief Valve Overhaul; Steam Valve and Reducing Station Overhaul; Fuel Oil Manifold Miscellaneous Valve Overhaul; Fuel Oil Manifold Valve Overhaul; Grey Water Holding Tank(s) Clean & Inspect; Miscellaneous Sewage Piping Repair; Sewage Holding Tank Clean & Inspect; Sewage Holding Tank Level Indicating System Installation; Sewage Vacuum Collection and Sealwater Tanks Clean and Inspect; Tanks (Sewage and Graywater) Preserve; Deck Coverings Interior Polymeric Reseal; Ammunition Hoists & Elevator Repair; Temporary Services, Dockside, Home Pier; Potable Water Tank Preservation (Partial). On or about 16 Dec 2006, a Total Small Business Set-aside Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
