Description

The United States Coast Guard Maintenance & Logistics Command Pacific in Oakland, California, proposes to contract for the Dockside Repair of USCGC MUNRO (WHEC 724), a 378-foot high endurance cutter, home moorage of Alameda, California. Work will be accomplished at the cutter?s home moorage, located at Coast Guard Island, during the period of 30 May through 21 July 2006. Work may include, but is not limited to the following: Production Gantt Bar Chart Provide; Tanks (Dirty Oil) Clean and Inspect; Critical Vent Fans Overhaul; Vent Ducts (Engine and Motor Rooms) Commercial Cleaning; Vent Ducts (Galley and Pantry) Commercial Cleaning; Vent Ducts (Laundry Exhaust) Commercial Cleaning; Magazine Sprinkler Valves (<2.5 Inches) Overhaul; Potable Water Pneumatic Tank Relief Valves Renew; Potable Water Pneumatic Tanks, Clean, Inspect and Hydro; Commissary Hoist (Gen) Level 2 Inspect and Repair; Grey Water Holding Tank(s) Clean & Inspect; Sewage Holding Tank Clean & Inspect; Sewage Holding Tank Level Indicating System Installation; Sewage Vacuum Collection and Sealwater Tanks Clean and Inspect; Ammunition Hoists & Elevators (Gen) Level 2 Inspect & Repair; Temporary Services, Dockside, Home Pier; Main Diesel Engine Exhaust Stack Uptakes Commercial Clean; Evaporators (General) Overhaul; Halon 1301 Bottle Inspection and Test; Turbine Intake Plenum Insulation Renewal. On or about 16 Dec 2006, a Total Small Business Set-aside Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
