From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFPs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFP you wish to view. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles (C&T) as the commodity center from which notices will be sent. DSCP has developed a web-based system that allows manufacturers the ability to request specifications, patterns and drawings on our contracting page. Important Note on Foreign Content The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment? impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and ?specialty metals? (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies. This will be an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract (IDTC) with four option terms. This solicitation will include Best Value Source Selection procedures. The items to be procured are as follow: Coat, All Weather, Man's, Air Force/Coast Guard NSN: 8405-01-174-5117(s) in accordance with CID A-A-5510A dated 18 November 1993, pattern dated 24 February 1995. The quantities are (minimum/maximum): Base Year: 18,384/30,632; option years 1 through 4 (minimum/maximum EACH YEAR): 17,824/29,704. Coat, All Weather, Woman's, Air Force/Coast Guard NSN: 8410-01-174-5116(s) in accordance with CID A-A-5111A dated 18 November 1993, pattern dated 24 February 1995. The quantities are (minimum/maximum): 1,944/3,240; option years 1 through 4 (minimum/maximum EACH YEAR): 5,040/8,392. A technical proposal including Product Demonstration Models (PDMs), Past Performance/Experience, Socioeconomic Considerations, Mentoring Business Agreement and Javits-Wagner-O'Day are included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued unrestricted. No GFM will be furnished; all materials in production of the items will be furnished by the contractor. FOB Destination applies.
