- Defense Supply Center Richmond intends to negotiate with responsive and responsible concerns for the establishment of one or more long term, indefinite quantity contracts, for 6 NSNs for Gas Turbine Cleaning compounds. The resulting contract(s) will have a base period of one year and four, one-year options. The Gas Turbine Cleaning compounds are manufactured to performance specification MIL-PRF-85704C- see numbered note 9. This specification has an associated Qualified Products List- QPL-85704-7, dated August 21, 1998- see numbered note 23. NSNs being purchased are: 6850-00-181-7594, Type I, 5 gallon metal can- base period estimated annual qty is 11,068 cans- options est annual qty is 6,520 cans per year; NSN 6850-00-181-7597- Type I, 55 gallon drum- est annual qty base period- 140 drums- options-92 drums per yr; NSN 6850-01-370-5244- Type II (RTU)- 55 gallon drums- base period est qty-45 drums- options-36 drums per year; NSN 6850-01-01-370-5245- Type II (RTU)-5 gallon can- est annual qty base period- 4,535 cans- options- 2608 cans per year; NSN 6850-01-433-6436- Type III- 5 gallon cans- base yr est qty-200 cans- options-160 cans per year; NSN 6850-01-372-8303- Type II, 5 gallon cans- est annual qty-1643 cans- options- 932 cans per year. This solicitation is issued under full and open competition procedures with 100% small business set-aside- see numbered note 1. See numbered note 26- commercial acqusition procedures are not being utilized. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evalation factors described in the solicitation.
