Description

Sources Sought. The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), intends to purchase six (6) each, Power Drives and Amplifiers for the Aircraft Operations Center (AOC) in MacDill AFB, FL. The intended acquisition is for supplies for which the Government intends to acquire from one source under the authority of 41 USC 235 (c) (1), Only One Responsible Source. The only known source is MPC Products Corporation in Skokie, Illinois. MPC is the manufacturer of these parts which are required to repair and keep into operation the antenna system used for the meteorological radar system. The Government has no specifications for this requirement, as they are proprietary to MPC. This is not a Request for Proposals and there is no solicitation available at this time. The Government reserves the right to issue a contract directly to MPC Products Corporation, if it is determined to be advantageous to the Government, without further notice. Any responses to this announcement must be submitted in writing within forty-five (45) calendar days of its publication. Responses may be faxed to (816) 274-6993, attention Jackie Shewmaker. All firms doing business with this Acquisition office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
