- THIS SOLICITATION IS UNRESTRICTED. This procurement is being advertised for one solicitation resulting in the award of one firm-fixed price/indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract. Southern Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command is presently seeking services for Preventive Maintenance/Control Inspection, in the Chicago, IL area. The NAICS Code for the solicitation is 561210, Facilities Support Services. The Small Business Size Standard is $30,000,000.00. The scope of work includes all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide control inspections and preventative maintenance in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) at MCRC Chicago, IL, by means of a combination firm-fixed price (FFP) and indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract (IDIQ). The PWS is organized into annexes. Annex 1 is "General Information". Annex 2 contains the on-site project management and administration requirements. Annexes 3 through 18 contain the technical requirements. The duration of services is not to exceed 365 days from the date of contract award. This contract will include a base year and four one-year options. There will be no future synopsis in the event the options included in the contract are exercised. No new work can be issued after one year following award of initial contract unless option year is exercised. Offerors must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database with a DUNS number in order to participate in this procurement. Offerors must register on the Internet at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Proposals are due on December 15, 2005. Amemdments will be posted on the web site for downloading. This will be the only method of distributing amendments; therefore, IT IS THE OFFERORS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. The government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any proposal.
