Description
This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and market research purposes only. It is not a request for proposals and does not commit the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award, or pay any costs associated with responding to this announcement. All submitted information shall remain with the Government and will not be returned.</p> The vendor should identify any proprietary information in their RFI responses. Proprietary materials will neither be distributed nor discussed with any other vendor. The use of information submitted to the Government as a result of this RFI will be at the discretion of the Government. The Government will not provide comments to any vendor?s submission.</p> Due to questions, this RFI has been extended for response to December 7, 2005, no later than 4 PM</p> Clarification regarding the 2.5" requirement: The removable drive bays should be 3.5? to support standard IDE PATA and SATA drives but must also be able to support 2.5? laptop drives.</p> Question regarding the system: AMD components are not acceptable. The Intel P4 motherboard and Intel P4 3.2Ghz CPU are required.</P> If the items are procured, the SEC shall install the Microsoft Operating System. The items should be compatible with Microsoft XP</p> All vendors with the appropriate technical qualifications relating to the specifications mentioned above are invited to submit a Capability Statement. The Capability Statement must address: 1) the product?s capabilities in addressing the above specifications; 2) any other specific and pertinent information that would enhance the SEC?s understanding of the information submitted.</p> If the product is offered on a Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) vehicle, please also provide the GWAC, contract number and expiration date.</p> Responses must be submitted by December 5, 2005, 10 AM EST.
