Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request For Quotation (RFQ), W15P7T-06-Q-D415. The U.S. Army intends to procure Commerical-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Run-time Licenses - Scansoft Capture Development Multi Asian Language OCR CJK (Part # 31-712C-10084) 177 units, PaperPort Pro, Version 9 Volume License (Part # F309A-TF1-10.0) 177 units, and PaperPort Pro, Version 9 CD Media (Part # 31-F31A-10056) 1 unit. Two option periods, with a duration of twelve (12) months each, will be included to purchase an additional twenty-four (24) months of the same for the second and third year of the contract. T his acquisition results in an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Firm-Fixed Price Supply Contract. The items described herein will be purchased for the Army Software Engineering Center for their mission in support of the Program Manager Counterintell igence, Human Intelligence Management System (CHIMS) and the Program Manager, Intelligence and Effects. This is a competitive buy; therefore all responsible sources may submit offers for this solicitation. For the two (2) one year option periods, the minim um and maximum quantities for the Run-time (Part # 31-712C-10084) and PaperPort Pro, Version 9 (Part # F309A-TF1-10.0) Licenses are 30units and 177units each per year, respectively. One unit of the PaperPort Pro, Version 9 CD media will be required for eac h option period. Option period range quantities for the Run-time and PaperPort Pro Licenses are as follows: 1-22units, 23-30units, 31-50units and 51-75units. Inspection, Acceptance and FOB point shall be Destination.
