Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs,VA Medical Center,Puerto Rico intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Kodak Americas Limited, PR Branch,Ave.Campo Rico,Esquina Calle 246,Carolina, Puerto Rico 00982 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements).A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition.This action is to procure preventive maintenance and repairs for Kodak Dry Images,Pac Links,Multiloaders,Processors & Components for the Radiology Service at San Juan, Puerto Rico,VA Medical Center and Ponce Outpatient Clinic.THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.No solicitation package is available.Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to these requirements by 2:00PM America/Puerto Rico,December 21, 2005. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
