- PR Number(s): FD2030-06-40022 The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the overhaul, test, packing and packaging and return to the government in accordance with the work specifications contained in the contract, the line items of Air Force equipment listed below. A firm fixed price requirements type contract consisting of a basic year and four (4) 1 year options is contemplated. The items, estimated quantities and required deliveries are as follows: CLIN 0001- NSN: 4810-01-413-3183TP; P/N: 11363-1; Noun: C-130 Butterfly Valve; Qty: Basic: BEQ 5 each, Opt I: BEQ 5 each, Opt II: BEQ 5 each, Opt III: BEQ 5 each, Opt IV: BEQ 5 each. CLIN 0002- NSN: 4810-01-412-9554TP; P/N: 11362-1; Noun: C-130 Butterfly Valve; Qty: Basic: BEQ 5 each, Opt I: BEQ 5 each, Opt II: BEQ 5 each, Opt III: BEQ 5 each, Opt IV: BEQ 5 each. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. Currently qualified source is: Hamilton Sundstrand, Cage Code 73030. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a limited number of sources. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All proposals received within thirty days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
