Description

The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, Fort McPherson, Georgia intends to solicit quotes in response to Request for Quote (RFQ) W911SE-06-T-0012 to provide furnished apartments for 87th Division Training Support Division, Birmingham, and AL 352 44-12945. The requirement is to supply 63 (one) bedrooms furnished apartment, and 10 (two) bedroom furnished apartments within a 10-mile radius of the U.S. Army Reserve Center, 1400 Golden Acorn Drive, Birmingham, AL 35244-1295. The resulting award will be for a base period of 12 months with two (2) 12 months options. The following standards will set the minimum allowable standards for Government contracted housing for mobilized soldiers. (1) All rentals shall be in accordance with the provision stated in the Statement of Requirements that will accompany the Request for Quote when released. The anticipated solicitation release date will be on or about 8 December 2005, RFQs will be due on or about the 13 December 2005, 4:00 p.m. EST. The apartments sh all meet all state, local, and OSHA regulations, codes and standards. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition if 721110 with a Small Business Size Standard of $6 million.
