Description

The National Park Service (NPS) contemplates issuing a sole source purchase order to Sicard Consulting Services to provide database management services for the administration of the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) State grant-in-aid program (general information http://www.nps.gov/lwcf). Duties include maintaining essential updates, user training, ad hoc reporting, system maintenance for the LWCF program, providing ongoing technical support to staff; oversight of apportionment calculations, managing the monthly accounting office merge, and assuring that system backups are maintained to assure online web-based database service is available 24 hours day. A fail safe backup system must be maintained to assure no loss of data for all but the last 24 hours of data entry activity. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, firms or persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting descriptive literature illustrating corporate capabilities to provide the required services. All response received within 15 days after date of publication of this announcement will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
