Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm fixed price supply type contract to be negotiated on sole source basis with Aljers LLC, Aptos, CA, per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This solicitation is for two each soft start unit circuit modification kits P/N 079507-0-51 for SWS 70 KW Rectifier Control Unit in support of Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Bangor, WA 98315. The contractor shall provide two each of the soft start units to Silverdale, WA 98315. Delivery date shall be approximately 90 days after date of contract. The commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 8 December 2005 with a closing date of 19 December 2005. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13.5. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil under Solicitation Number N00406-06-T-0223. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or FAX requests will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or FAXed. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
