Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under PRV3371B5318CM01. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Norfolk intends to purchase services for the following items: Monthly maintenance agreement on four copiers located at Norfolk Naval Shipyard Bldg 14 Portsmouth, VA in support of Mobile Security Squadron Two. Copiers: RICOH AFICIO 1022, RICOH AFICIO 1027; CANON IMAGE RUNNER 33006; CANON model # MRJ03390. Service: The contractor shall: (1) provide monthly checks of rollers, toner, and other mechanical parts to insure good working condition of the copiers (an inspection report is to be submitted detailing results of the monthly inspection/maintenance) - LINE ITEM 0001, (2) replace parts that become unserviceable due to normal wear and tear with new, or reconditioned parts - LINE ITEM 0002 - NTE $5,000.00. Service calls for down copiers will be made during normal working hours (8:00 am - 4:30 pm - Mon-Fri). Meter Readings: The customer will provide true and accurate meter readings for all four copiers monthly via reasonable manner (i.e. phone, email, or fax). Contractor is to provide a POC, voice mail number, fax number, and e-mail address. Term: Maintenance agreement will be for a term of 12 months, with provisions for four - 1-year option periods. Base year period of performance is 01 January 2006 through 31 December 2006. Reconditioning: Reconditioning of equipment will not be accomplished under this contract.
