Description

This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only quotation and a written quotation will not be issued. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement is requesting a quotation to obtain garbage/refuse removal service per year at a firm fixed price. Contractors shall be able to meet the following Government requirements: 1) The Contractor shall pick-up and haul away any garbage/refuse contain in the seven (7) 4-yard contractor owned containers. Containers are located near the southwest corner of the building, 2) Garbage/refuse is to be picked up daily, Monday through Saturday, to include holidays with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year. Trash shall be picked up before 9:00 am, 3) The Contractor shall dispose of such trash at an authorized disposal site in accordance with the Contractor?s permit or license and accordance with state disposal regulations, 4) The Contractor shall identify all vehicles used in the performance of the service with the name or logo of the company for vehicle identification. Contractor shall maintain all equipment in good operating condition, 5) The Contractor shall clean up small particles of trash and debris scattered as a result of his operations on grounds, lawn and roadway in the vicinity of the pickup point. Period of Performance will be 1/1/2006 through 12/31/2006 with two (2) one year option periods. The quoter shall submit the following for consideration: (1) a narrative addressing the contractor?s ability to meet the Government technical requirements; (2) a list of references within the past 2 years on similar city, state and federal contracts (to include contract number and points of contact); (3) pricing for the base year and each option year. The Government will award on an all or none basis. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items applies with evaluation factors of: (1) ability to meet Government?s technical requirements; (2) past performance; (3) price. 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.217-5 Evaluation of Options; 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services; 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (1day, 1 day); 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (1day, 1 day); 52.232-18 Availability of Funds; Offerors will complete the information in 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items and submit their Representations and Certifications via ORCA @ http://orca.bpm.gov. The Offeror may obtain the full text of the clauses electronically at web site http://www.arnet.gov/far. Request for Quotation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-05. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 562111; Size Standard is $10.5 Million.
