- Description
- The Federal Correctional Institution, Milan, Michigan, intends to issue solicitation RFQ-41702-025-06 for the provision of providing a Physician. The contractor must provide services to the inmate population for the Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Detention Center. The contractor shall possess a current and valid medical license to practice medicine in the state of Michigan. The contractor must be a graduate of an American Medical Association. It is estimated the contract will run from the date of award through September 30, 2006. A session will be defined as one hour. Estimated total sessions per year are 462. The total number of sessions per week shall not exceed 30 hours. Quoters must specifically identify the individual that will be performing these services under any subsequent award. The solicitation will be available on or about December 9, 2005 and will be distributed through the website at www.fedbizzopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated receipt of quotes is December 30, 2005. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based Community organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for which they are elgible.
