Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Based on information gleaned through the small business market survey process, this acquisition is solicited on an unrestricted basis. NAICS is 811310; business size is $6M. Services re quested are: Rebuild transmission and drive motors for caterpillar loader 963, S/N 21Z05396: A) rebuild one each transmission, B) Rebuild two each wheel motors, C) Remove & install transmission, D) Transport loader from and return to Ft Campbell land fill, NOTES: work is to be performed at vendor site, vendor will pickup loader from Ft Campbell construction landfill located on Woodlawn Rd. and return loader to same. Rebuild must be performed by a certified Caterpillar Repair dealer. Rebuild work and return of loader must be completed not later than 15 Jan 2006. This solicitation incorporated provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 8 June 2005. Additionally, the following provisions and clauses are applicable t o this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors  Commercial (Jan 2005); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions  Commercial Items (Oct 2003); 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders  Commercia l Items (Jan 2005) (DEVIATION); 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items (Jan 2005), 52.225-13, Restrictions on Certain Foreign Purchases (Mar 2005 ); 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer  Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003); 52.233-4, Applicable Law for Breach of Contract Claim (Oct 2004). A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications  Commercial Items and 252.212-7000, Offeror Representation and Certification  Commercial Items (Nov 1995) shall be submitted with the quotation. The due date for submission of quotations is 16 Dec 2005, 12:00 PM CT, facsimile quotations are acceptable at (270) 798-3987; mailing address is Directorate of Contracting, 13 ? Street, Building 2176, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, 42223. All responsible offerors who submit a quote will be considered. All contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense Con tractor Registration (CCR) database prior to any contract award.
