Description
The Special Notice of the planned extension of the Non-Stockpile Systems Contract (NSSC) II ordering period was posted, on 20 Jul 2005, at the Federal Business Opportunities website. It requested any interested parties provide their interest in the Non-Stockpile Chemical Material program, with a description of their capabilities, as it applied to the Non-Stockpile requirements. Responses were received and evaluated primarily for technical/management qualifications and capabilities, chemical demilita rization experience and past performance, and acquisition costs. Based on this evaluation and analysis, the Government has decided to extend the NSSCII basic contracts in accordance with the regulatory provisions at DFARS 217.204(e)(i) and FAR 6.302-1. The four NSSCII basic contracts will be modified, accordingly. The NSSCII basic contracts each contain an umbrella statement of work (SOW) that establishes the overall requirements and capabilities for acquiring the systems support for the Non-Stockpile C hemical Materiel program. Each NSSCII contract has a minimum contract quantity and a maximum contract quantity. The minimum ($100,000) and maximum ($300,000,000) contract quantity and umbrella SOW of the existing NSSCII basic contracts will not be chang ed. The changes will be to the length of the ordering period and the performance period. The contractors/contacts affected by this are as follows: Teledyne Brown Engineering, Contract DAAA09-02-D-0003, Parsons Infrastructure & Technology Group, Contract DAAA09-02-D-0005, Shaw Environmental Inc, Contract DAAA09-02-D-0006, and Washington Demilitarization Company, Contract DAAA09-02-D-0004
