- The FISC Norfolk Procurement Office, Northeast plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) from qualified sources capable of providing: Preventative Maintenance (PM), Repair of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), Emergency Repair of MHE, and MHE Repair Parts in accordance with the Performance Based Work Statement. Services under this acquisition will be performed in Groton, CT. This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items found at FAR 13.5 Test Program for Commerical Items, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This synopsis shall be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N69078-06-T-6008. The NAICS code is 811310 - Material Handling Equipment Repair and Maintenance Services and the Small Business Standard is $6,000,000. The solicitation is a small business set aside. The government intends to award a single award with a period of performance as close to 1 FEB 2006 to 30 SEPT 2006 as possible. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Lack of registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database will make an offeror ineligible for award. It is anticipated that the Request for Quotation will be ready for release on or about DEC 2005.
