Description
This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis. This is NOT a Request for Proposal. The following information is provided to assist the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAVAIR) in conducting a market research of industry to identify potential contractors capable of providing F402 JETI Test Cell Pneumatic Bleed Valves. Interested Contractor?s should be able to provide F402 Bleed Valves that meet the following specifications in a quantity of up to 8: Minimum Procurement Specifications 1.) Size = 4.0 Inch (ID) Flange Mount Butterfly Valve with External Visual Valve Position Indicator 2.) Electrical = Preferred ? 28 VDC Solenoid Controlled with MIL-C-5015 Receptacle, Energize Open, Fail Closed, Duty Cycle, Continuous. Optional ? High Torque, 115VAC, 400HZ Single Phase Motor Actuated, Elegize Open, Energize Closed. Electrical Options Cont ? Either Type of Valve may have Valve Open/Closed Logic Switch for On Panel Indication for Operation 3.) Valve Modulation Method = Pneumatically Modulated with Adjustable Rate Control, or High Torque Motor Driven Valve Mechanism with Positive Travel Limit Stop. 4.) Maximum Operational Temperature Expected = 507 C 5.) Maximum Operational Pressure Expected = 267 psia 6.) Minimum Flow Rate Valve is Required Pass = 21 lb/sec 7.)
