- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Acquisition Center, has a requirement for Nasogastric Sump Tube under VAs national standardization program. This item will be procured under a Service Disabled Veteran-Ownd Small Business Set-Aside. The contract period will be for a base period of one year plus four one-year option periods. The item description requirements and values are as follows: 1. Disposable 2. Single patient use 3. Sterile 4. Radiopaque 5. Double lumen 6. Landmark calibration from distal tip @ 18, 22, 26 and 30 inches 7. Equal to or greater than 10 aspiration oval eyes 8. One distal oval eye 9. Silicone/PVC 10. Equal to or greater than 48 inches in length 11. With or without stylette 12. 5 in 1 connector in package. An estimated annual quantity of 127,669 is anticipated for the following combined sizes and quantities: French sizes; 12 Fr., 1,273 each; 14 Fr., 9,036 each; 16 Fr., 18,870 each and 18 Fr., 98,490 each. The NAICS Code for this item is 339113. All offerors shall be required to submit product samples and product literature by solicitation closing date. If offeror is not the acutual manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the Small Business manufacturer must be submitted by the offeror with offer guaranteeing the solicitation quantities from the manufacturer for the base and four option periods. This item will be procured under a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. All offerors shall be required to submit their own manufactured products or those manufactured by other Small Business manufacturers. The end product furnished must be manufactured or produced in the United States or its outlying areas. OFFERS ARE NOT BEING SOLICITED AT THIS TIME. An Electronic version of the solicitation will be available on or about September 21, 2005 for download at the following URL: http://vaww.bos.OAMM.va.gov/ The solicitation will be issued on or about September 21, 2005 with a closing date of October 21, 2005. Offers on 797-NC-05-0063 will be due by 4:00 CST on October 21 2005.
