Description
The purpose of this amendment is to re-open solicitation to include questions and answers as follows: QUESTIONS: 1. What is the expected flow in GPM? 2. Based on the response to the flow, is 2" NPT enough to handle 170 tons? 3. What is the fluid being cooled? 4. What is the pressure of the system? 5. Who will provide hoses to and from the chiller? 6. Is cable required to connect the chiller to the power source? 7. What is the application? Rental units will typically York or Trane. Dynaview sounds like a proprietary control device, and may not be available. What will be supplied will be factory supplied. 8. Will the unit be lifted off the trailer or remain trailer-mounted? ANSWERS: 1. Flow Rate should be 250 GPM minimum at 80 feet of head. 2. Yes, a 2-1/2" is enough. We used this same setup on the ________last year. 3. Fluid being cooled is Fresh Water. 4. Pressure of the system will be regulated to 70 PSI. 5. NNSY will be providing the hoses to and from the chiller. 6. A pigtail off of the unit's control is the only thing required for connecting the power source. NNSY will provide all other cable from unit plug to connect to power source. 7. The application is to provide chill water to the Ship's Chill water system. 8. The Chill Water Unit will be lifted off of delivery trailer and placed on temporary barge for use during the availability.
