Description

The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to issue a sole source call order under the Architectural Visual Modeling Solution - Rational (AVMS-R) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) DABL01-03-A-1006 to immixTechnology, Inc., 8444 Westpark Drive, Suite 120, McLean, VA 22102 to provide Passport Advantage - Rational Clear Case Float User Annual Software Maintenance Renewal (Part Number E012TLL), Passport Advantage - Rational Rose XFE Plus Floating Users Annual Software Maintenance Renewal (Part Number E0136LL) and Passport Advantage - Rational Rose Suite Float Users Annual Software Maintenance (Part Number E013KLL) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). DFARS Section 208.74 directs DoD software buyers to check the DoD Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI) website for existing Enterprise Software Agreements (ESAs) that satisfy requirements before using any other method of acquisition. A review of the ESAs found that the AVMS-R BPA was the only ESA available to meet the requirements. Additionally, a review of Federal Supply Schedules found a number of resellers, however, the prices offered were higher than those on the AVMS-R BPA ESA and the ESA is supposed to be used before any other method of acquisition. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. See Numbered Note 22.
