Description
EMERGENCY PROCUREMENT - THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET-ASIDE TO SMALL BUSINESSES. Place of performance is Parishes within the State of Louisiana affected by Hurricane Katrina. The contractor shall be responsible for providing leased, purchased or refurbish ing modular buildings of different dimensions, site preparation, setting-up and breaking down the temporary facilities including site work, foundation work, potable water connections, sewage connections, and electrical service connections. If public or p rivate water utility service is not available, the contractor may be required to provide potable water. Sewerage connections may be from a public or private utility or the contractor may be required to provide sewerage holding tank(s), on-site sewerage tre atment and disposal system(s), or other approved method. Electrical service may be from the local electric utility or the contractor may be required to have connections for generator(s). Contractor may be required to install automatic transfer switch to a llow both commercial and generator power to the building(s). Site work may include, but is not limited to, clearing and grubbing, grading, compaction, crushed stone placement, roadways, parking facilities, perimeter/security lighting, and perimeter/securi ty fencing. Contractor shall provide submittals as required per individual task order regarding such items as site work, foundation work, safety requirements, schedule of work, critical procurement items, material quantities, piping layout, and electrica l distribution. The government anticipates issuing three IDIQ FFP contracts with a total Not To Exceed (NTE) of $90,000,000.00. The RFP will be issued on or about 21 December 2005.
