Description

NAVFAC MARIANAS, Guam plans to solicit and negotiate a procurement on a sole source basis with Black Construction Corporation (BCC), P.O. Box, 24667, GMF, Guam, 96921 to install two (2) each 120V shunt trips for the boiler circuit breakers and to provide a hydrostatic test of the steamlines in accordance with ASME.B31.1. BCC possesses the unique capabilities and expertise to install the emergency disconnect switches as they were the incumbent on the P-250 Waterfront Utilities Upgrade Installation, N2742-01-C-1334. Any such alterations or reconfigurations by other than BCC would void the Government's warranty installed under the initial contract. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
