Description

The United States Coast Guard, MLC Atlantic intends to issue a purchase order to Beaird Company for a Jacket Water Heater, Part Number 98625-01 for Maxim Evaporator Model TU-106 HR for 378 foot WHEC Cutters, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This requirement is being solicited under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) and FAR Subpart 6.302-1. Beaird Company is the only company that has the technical propriety data necessary to manufacturer the required parts for the evaporator. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332312 ? Fabricated Structural Metal Manufacturing and the small business size standard is 500. The acquisition is for one Jacket Water Heater, part number 98625-01. The Jacket Water Heater will be delivered F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Naval Engineering Support (NESU), 1050 Register Street, Charleston, SC 29405. The required delivery date is 15 March 2006. Items shall be packed, packaged and marked in accordance with commercial standards. The OEM's best standard commercial warranty is requested and shall be identified in the bidder's quote.
