- Number Notes: 1, 9, and 26 applies: The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) is seeking proposals from business entities interested in supporting worldwide demand of Federal Stock Class (5330) Gasket, Seal, Retainer Packing, and Packing Performed. Solicitation SP0500-06-R-0036 is being issued to support this initiative for various 5330 Products. This initiative will fall under FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The initial solicitation will require pricing for 88 core items with 17 items in the universe. The delivery requirement will be 120 days and the list of core items is attached. Award will be by group, Gasket, Seal, Retainer Packing, and Packing Performed will be in different groups depending on the nomenclature. You must quote all the items in the group in order to be considered for an award. Prospective contractors should have Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) capability. Subject solicitation will be issued as 100% Small Business Concern basis with the resultant contract being an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for two (2) base years with three (3) one-year options. The estimated cost for the entire (5) year contract is $700,340.00 including the universe. This will be a best value source selection acquisition in which technical merit is considered more important to cost or price. Solicitation SP0500-06-R-0036 is expected to be issued on December 20, 2005 and may not become available until the solicitation issue date. The required drawing may be requested from Monica D.
